Title Gene Knockout Protocol By TMP/UV Method (Ver. 1.3)
Source Hitoshi Inada and Ikue Mori, Nagoya University

Overview

The gene knockout is one of the useful approaches to analyze the gene function. In C. elegans, the construction of deletion mutant library using chemical reagents and the subsequent PCR screening are generally used to isolate knockout mutants because the gene knockout using homologous recombination has not yet been developed.
