Title Biochemical Analysis Of Cell Death Using Colorimetric Quantification Of Caspase Activation (Subscription Required)
Source CSH Protocols; 2006; doi:10.1101/pdb.prot4435

Overview

This protocol describes a method for analysis of apoptosis via quantification of caspase activation. There is considerable evidence that during apoptosis the caspases undergo proteolytic processing and activation and then orchestrate the central apoptotic events. The colorimetric assay presented here was adapted from Stennicke and Salveson (1997).
