Overview
The TUNEL (terminal deoxynucleotide transferase [TdT]-mediated dUTP-digoxigenin nick-end labeling) method is based on the in situ labeling of DNA fragmentation sites in nuclei of intact fixed cells. An improved protocol for tissue sections is described here.
